About JSWA

The Jersey Shore Wedding Association is comprised of an elite group of wedding professionals who are committed to helping you plan the wedding of your dreams while making the it the most wonderful and enjoyable experience that it can be.

JSWA began in 2005 - with about 40 local vendors who were interested in providing quality goods and services in a cohesive way to better help the brides who chose Long Beach Island and the Jersey Shore region for their weddings. Our members have played a pivotal role in building this area as a prominent Destination Wedding  location. We are active members of the community, participating in endeavors to promote, sustain and maintain the quality of life that brings thousands of visitors to our shores year after year.

JSWA members are required to be in good standing and demonstrate that they have met the county, state and professional requirements for their respective fields.

Many of our members also participate in local, national and international trade organizations bringing you the latest insights, technology and trends in the wedding industry.

All our members adhere to the JSWA Mission Statement and our Professional Code of Ethics, giving couples peace of mind in knowing that they will be meeting with qualified professional wedding specialists.

JSWA Code of Ethics

The Jersey Shore Wedding Association is comprised of elite wedding professionals committed to conducting fair and ethical practices; delivering to you the best products and services.
All JSWA members have agreed to operate according to the following Code of Ethics:

  • To Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner
  • Follow all business licensing requirements for their type of business and keep all licenses and permits current and in good standing
  • Use honest and factual advertising
  • Honor all contracts and other agreements with customers, suppliers and other business associates
  • Provide customers and prospective customers with timely, complete information about all prices,products and services, and contract provisions
  • Respect intellectual property rights of others including trademarks and copyrighted materials
  • Satisfy client disputes immediately, fairly and with professional consideration
  • All JSWA members agree to our Code of Ethics however, each member sets their own business policies and practices. JSWA encourages you to contact the vendors directly, interview them and make yourselves comfortable with the product, service, terms and practices for which you are contracting.
